Why Liverpool?
Why indeed. Was it due to the history of the most prestigious club in England. Am I bandwagoner hopping on just as the team gets good? Was it watching Luis Suarez tear it up against Norwich again and again and again? Was it watching Steven Gerrard smash home that volley against Olympiakos?
It was none of those.
In fact it all began with a purchase.
In October 2010, John Henry and the Fenway Sports Group purchased Liverpool FC. Flash forwards to 2014, and I was just getting into soccer and had no club to support. As a native of Boston, and a fan of all things related to Boston Sports, I began to follow Liverpool, and my rocky love has begun since.
